Welcome to Aralu Therapy

A place where kindness is more important than rules...

In my mother tongue, Kannada, Aralu means to "bloom", which is embodied in our logo and more importantly, in all the work that we do.

At Aralu, we are continously working towards creating healing spaces that are accessible, holistic and inclusive.

We work with individuals and communities to help create narratives that work, reclaim ones that don't and support this journey through a caste-inclusive, queer and neuro- divergent affirmative, trauma informed lens.

Our Approaches

At Aralu, the aim is to create spaces where kindness, non-judgementality and compassion are extended not just from the therapist to you, but you to yourself. This, we believe, is the first step towards making spaces safe and therefore, making spaces that aid in healing.

We practice with a trauma- informed, Queer & Neurodivergent Affirmative and Caste- inclusive lens

Our Focus Areas

compassion and kindness through effective self care

regulating and expressing feelings or emotions before acting on them

practicing coping mechanisms that serve the person you are becoming

self exploration and reflection that initiates healthy boundaries

When you are afraid to feel uncomfortable, you feel anxious..

When you know you're allowed to feel uncomfortable, you feel better.

Testimonials

Yes, I like that with every session, there is something practical and useful that I can take with me in my daily life.
Basically, it's not just me talking someone's ear off, and that person sympathizing. For everything we discuss and analyze, there are logical next steps and suggestions that help with the situation.
I thought that things were going slowly initially, but I have come to understand that this is a slow but steady process and progress, so I am quite oriented.
I haven't found a single moment of discomfort during any of the sessions, in fact I've been able to open up much better and convey what's wrong even better!
I feel like I am better able to identify certain triggers for my anxiety (although I do have to work on my ways to cope). I have also become better at identifying what it is I am feeling, which was something I always struggled with. Over the last few months, my panic and anxiety has noticeably decreased, and I am able to take baby steps towards finding clarity for the future.
